Before Bradford University embarked upon a new media honours degree, our founder, Richard, was already using computers like the Commodore Amiga to make animations and art "just for shits 'n' giggles". After finishing a Computer Studies HND, he switched programming languages for visual ones and found that he loved the challenge.
Early presenting experiments included a parody of a local news show investigating the rise in (obviously fictitious) guinea pig thefts! Clearly, he was a sarcastic bugger for a long time before realising it could be used professionally.
While finishing his degree, Rich landed a job running the media for a large club/sports complex and started playing with the public! This evolved after a few years, and consequently, a trailer for a new show was created, which landed our first commission (Granada Sky Broadcasting). Their only condition was that Rich host the show. This led to him doing the same for other production companies, even though this was the first time he'd considered that properly as a job he could do!
Now, as we journey through the complicated socio-political landscape that is now, please bear in mind that some of these are ADULT humour for a certain demographic and delivered on their commissions. And just like many comedians have to say before they tell a joke nowadays, this is NOT real. REPEAT: a humouress performance is precisiely that, imaginary, and while you're free to say "not funny", you're also free to navigate the f*©k away and rant somewhere else.

EIMC degree first module
Rich's first attempt at presenting was in 1992: year one of a media degree at Bradford University. Others got the giggles, and we did better takes afterwards, but this is the moment when he first considered you could do this for a living!
Pig-Napping!!!!
An early shoot & edit exercise, Rich wrote up a cheeky imaginary scenario inspired by a tiny article in the local Bradford paper. After his slightly-giggly first punt at presenting, he played this one with a very straight face!
Late Attitude (ep#2 of 8)
Aired originally on ITV1, featuring Richard Alexander as host with other guest co-hosts each week. This episode discusses smoking, and other relevant topics for the younger gens.
Originality in parody
A quick zip through some of our comedy products from around 2007/8, voiced by Hector, the computer with Tourette's syndrome (about 15 years before the entire world copied the idea for online media).
Chewin' the Fat with Punters
When first forced in front of the camera, Rich found that he actually enjoyed the random banter with people. For some of the brands we were commissioned, it was an easy step to try and formulate some of these with fun topics, which were occasionally a bit rude for some tastes!
Rubbernecker (excerpt)
Light entertainment show (60 eps, 2008) poking harmless fun at clips and inviting opinions from the public and viewers alike. Also, a post-watershed variant was broadcast. We took the clips to the streets, and now many shows have mimicked the concept!!!
Late Attitude (ep#1 of 8)
First episode of a new series, hosted by Richard Alexander, of a late-night chat show for the younger generations. Strong opinions and strong language discussing safe sex, public toilets and other scandals!!!!
The Randomball Run
Broadcast way back in 2004, this mockumentary series poked fun at everything: the characters Ricardo & Syd (played by Richard Alexander & Robert Swift), the car (a 1972 Ford Cortina), the idea of a random roadtrip over a bank holiday long weekend, but especially anyone taking life too seriously.
UK Uncovered 'live tour'
Starting in January 2000, our camera crews visited just about every notable town or city in the UK. Up to 17 crews out a week, covering the four corners of our crazy country—and back then, people were wild.

Fluffy Little Bunnies
An early post-primary shoot teaser (from 1997) of this all digital production where Rich shot, edited and did pretty much everything else! A genuine edit-suite-in-the-bedroom effort!
Steam Room II
Probably the most fun we had making shows for GSB/Turner/ITV/etc was this series. The level of banter from the general public and the on-screen chemistry between meddling producer Richard Alexander and model Michelle Marsh made this boys v girls a classic. A bit much for some, but, then again, pretty tame by today's TV standards!

UK Uncovered (Series I)
The UK club scene was a melting pot of experiences for millions every year, and we went out and about with our cameras to put as many of you on the telly as we could. Stepping from behind the camera, Richard Alexander became a character called 'Evil Ricardo'—a part of his personality, with the dial turned up to 11!!!! Not bad for a dim northern lad, eh?

Backflip Heroism
Playing up to the UK Uncovered camera crew, our backflip hero sends himself into a painful spin and almost breaks many bones — all to be on the telly. To add insult to injury, Juliette roasts him after the incident!
Bak 2 Skool!
UK Uncovered was a TV show we made for about a decade. Plenty of silliness for the cameras, lots of fun and strong humour (it is, after all, filmed in what could be called the playground for adults). This was our school disco-themed spin-off, with 'Ricardo' even wearing his old school blazer!!!
